newcastle snapshots
vek dragged me to Newcastle right before uni start to show me how he "survived" a year there. loved my stay at Gyn's and Swee's. and regretted not taking any photoes with them. shame on me.
the weather then was superb.. bright and sunny. and when its bright and sunny, you'll get to see this in any wide open spaces..

Touched down…
It has been slightly difficult for me to blog since touch down. My laptop couldn’t access wi fi and my hunt in finding the cheapest internet café was fruitless.. standard rate’s a pound an hour here – what did I expect.
vek fetched me at the airport. And since then it was the beginning of my adventure on foot. And boy, do i mean on foot. like i've mailed to most of you.. i've never walked so much i my whole life! Walking is the best way to move around here!
the longest one ever - for 72 hours. madness.. caused roads to be clogged up, busses packed, and 3 particular malaysians to resort to loads of map reading and bus hopping. lol.. goo thing in a way. if not for the tube stations closed for a couple of days, vek and i wouldn't have taken the bus around london.

We've been doing a lot of hunting for our permanent accomodation, moving about in the tube and busses, from one end of London to another. hat's off to the transportation services here in london.. so i thot, until Monday evening... Tube went on strike!
