LRT - Life's Rapid Transitions

This is it.. the final 2 weeks of revision.. heart thumping, head throbbing.. finger nails biting.. final 2 weeks. And then 2 weeks more after for personal solitude.. What follows ahead, i dare not speak...

This is it.. yes, it's finally kicking in (about time, i should say). Time to prove what we gained, what we've accomplished, what we've been preparing for for the past 9 months.. Unfortunately tho, my preparation seemed to have been all squeezed to the final 3 months instead..

time flies ever so swiftly.. last week's events seemed only oh-so-yesterday. i could almost hear Jurisprudence lecture ringing in my head - ah, if only i remember what was said! Steady, no panics.. Just a little nervous. It's the finals.. and then, that is it.

Life's rapid Transitions..
bringing us along for a ride along its rails,
opening doors to realms of opportunities, adventure;
and wonders ahead.

If the LRT could talk..
and were to tell me of what he thought..
of me throughout these 3 yrs,
what would he say?

He'd smile and tell me not to worry,
cos even tho the LRT never waits,
and constantly moves forward from day to day,
"enjoy the journey, enjoy the scene that before u i lay".

hello paolo

My brother has a very different sense of music from me (and from maybe 90% of all teenagers in this decade). Our Ares is filled with downloads of The Beatles, Bob Marley, The Carpenters... u get my drift. Today, i shall not complain. Instead, i'll have to thank him for that wacked sense of music cos without Sathya, i wouldn't have stumbled upon Paolo Nutini.

i must've accidently clicked on him, intending to play Paganini. But instead of getting annoyed (out of both my clumsiness and my brother's habit of overpopulating our shared account with HIS music choices), i found myself (my feet) tapping away to the beat of New Shoes. i thought, "hey.. this is good.. very good..".

Curiosity got the better of me. cos i have never heard of Paolo Nutini, what more seen how he looks like. i dont even know (note my brother's list of idols aforementioned..), whether this Paolo dude is still alive?

so i googled - yea, he still breathing.. wait-a-momento - he's 19??!! where have i been? cos i can swear to you he sounds way older (u be the judge..)

so i YouTube'd. and found this.. close your eyes and listen.. then open your eyes and watch.. (oh, dont' forget to load it 1st ^^)

if it's your 1st time seeing him (humor me pls.. cos it is my first) tell me if you have the same expression as i did after seeing his face, which went along the lines of - eek! so cute! *schoolgirl giggles*..

gosh, where have i been??
