they say the best things in life are free. i say - it's true! :P

i had the sudden notion of having my hair cut. today, i did exactly that - for FREE!

all i needed was a phone number, a wacky best friend and thick skin. hah!

AP, a trainee hairstylist (for 2 yrs) in toni & guy did an excellent job. she was steady, friendly and patient - or rather, we were patient. wash, cut and blow took 1 1/2 hours altogether. ah.. but worth the wait. cos, as quoted by jessica simpson, "i feel so much lighter on my feet with all that hair gone" :P

ok, so it might seem my hair looks, as sathya said "exactly the same". but in actual truth it's not! it's better.. i can feel it.. haha! (hey, i said i wanted a hair cut right.. not a hair make over)

anyways, bottom line - it was FREE! so for those interested in getting free pampering (esp in preparation for this chinese new year) just contact toni & guy and make reservations for their junior stylist. whoa~ i'm promoting the salon. heh!

caught in our free spirit (hehe..pun not intended) vic and i had a plate of free pasta at delifrance for lunch. thanks to jo for the coupons, we managed to save quite a bit of smackaroos.
