finally! this is it!
the new list of the world's seven wonders will be out in a couple of hours.
soon, history will rewrite itself..
naturally, much debate and controversies accompanies this new suggestion.
but i personally agree in creating a new official list of 7 wonders - as a child, i actually thought the taj mahal was one of the famous 7 wonders... and when i found out the original line up, and learnt that only the pyramids still exist, i was disappointed. plus, what a super global event, putting all level of cultures and history on one big pedestal!
so before the new list comes out, this is my version of the world's seven wonders..
you and me together can compare how many out of six (since the pyramids are still in the new one) i got right based on the worldwide votes. 'tho notably, my hopes are nothing close to the current top ten choices - top 10 are Greece's Acropolis, Mexico's Chichen Itza pyramid, the Eiffel Tower, Easter Island, Brazil's Statue of Christ Redeemer, the Taj Mahal and Jordan's Petra.
still, i'm so excited to know the results!

lol!
but nah... i agree these are real awesome places i myself would like to visit. angkor wat to begin with.
the floating village? sighs...
and to visit each and everyone i want to, too! lol.. me? a geek? lol... thank you, thank you :D
totally agree with your list. the stonehenge and easter island statues are really primitive engineering and architecture wonders. until now, nobody figured out how these people move the gigantic stones to their present location and position them based on some solar calendar system.
exactly my thought.. quite disspointed with the new list in that sense.
